The "WAR CHILD" Tattoo - A brief background on the cultures who inspired it.

The curves of the spiked fangs were drawn calmly and carefully, rather that falling back on geometry.  The human mind makes more organic feeling shapes with life to them..  They look and feel right. 

The irregular alternation of dark and light values is Inspired specifically by Pacific North West Tribal Art. and Haida Totems.  The effect, in my mind is pretty bad ass like the fangs of a spider siphoning blood from it's prey.
