HOW THE PRINT EDITION WORKS

One violin drawing becomes twenty-four signed prints.

Choose a print by its mark and its price.

01 · THE ARTWORK

The image stays the same.

Every buyer receives a signed archival print of the Stradivarius drawing.

02 · THE PRINT MARK

Choose where your print sits in the edition.

Each print is marked 1 of 24 through 24 of 24. The mark identifies the physical print you are choosing.

03 · THE PRICE

Every price is published before the first sale.

The higher the mark, the higher the price, and a price never moves downward. Prints 4, 7, 10, and 12 include an original page from the theory books. Print 13 includes The Split of The Structure and opens prints 14 to 24.

THE PRODUCTION RULE

Risk one flight, not the whole staircase.

Making all twenty-four prints before anyone asks for one is wasteful: unsold prints, storage damage, mismatched marks. This edition is printed in flights, as demand proves itself.

  2. Release the first flight.Prints 1 to 13 are made and offered first.
  3. Show the buyer everything. The exact print and its price, before purchase.
  4. Open the next flight.Print 13 releases prints 14 to 24.
